North Star: decide what comes next
Review real records, prioritize one decision and name the person and due date.
Trilingual Decision to Evidence Software
The future takes direction. Lead with intelligence.
North Star Intel helps operations and finance leaders govern consequential decisions from approval through execution and verified outcomes.
The animated loop illustrates the six stages. Results are only marked verified when supporting evidence exists.
One record connects the interaction, decision, action and outcome. No owner means no autonomous execution. No evidence means no verified outcome.
North Star Index
Illustrative operating score · 0 to 100
The average of the five dimensions below. A score, not a percentage of revenue.
The five dimensions
Reading the movement: short swings are normal week-to-week noise. A sustained rise or fall across several dimensions is the signal. The figures shown here are illustrative.
The Index is computed only from your own decisions and outcomes. A verified figure can only come from your own records.

Compare the missed call rate and overtime hours with the pre-hire baseline four weeks after the hire. Record other changes before drawing a conclusion. No measured result is supplied in this example.
Result pending. No outcome has been verified.
The priority score uses the published formula. Two times opportunity, plus risk of waiting, minus effort, scaled from 0 to 100. Each input is rated 1 to 3. It ranks one decision against others. It is not a percentage of revenue or of business potential.
((2 × 3) + 3 − 2) ÷ 8 × 100 = 7 ÷ 8 × 100 = 87.5 → 88
87.5 rounds to 88. This is not a measure of results.
The executive view
North Star Vision is your executive decision workspace. Bring business records, compliance context and system constraints into the same review so leadership can see what matters, what is uncertain and who acts next.
Bring relevant filings, financial summaries and operating reports to the review.
Include documented requirements, deadlines and policy settings that affect the decision.
Identify the tools, access dependencies and setup constraints involved in the next step.
Identify the source and date of each relevant record. Resolve conflicting versions with your team, keep missing or unconfirmed information explicit.
Review opportunity, risk and effort. Name one owner, a next action and a due date in the Decision Record.
Agree on the baseline and evidence needed to check the result. Keep the outcome pending until it can be verified.
This describes the review method. Records are reviewed within an agreed scope, automatic document ingestion, compliance certification and infrastructure monitoring are not included by default. System connections require separate setup. Keep original documents in your approved systems and share only what is needed.
Review how evidence and data are handledHow it works
01
Bring one decision
Start with the question and the records you already have.
02
Set the priority
Review the evidence, the score, one owner, and a due date.
03
Check the result
Record what happened and carry the lesson into the next decision.
First reading
A first reading is a review of your business decisions. Scope and timing are confirmed during intake.
Priority decisions
The open decisions worth acting on first, each with its score and the inputs behind it.
Owners and next steps
One named owner, one next action and a due time for each priority.
An evidence based brief
A written summary tied to the records you shared. Missing evidence is named, not filled in.
Start with a short request. We review what you share and contact you about the next step. The first reading is included for accepted applicants. Ongoing work starts only after a written agreement is signed.
Why trust the method
North Star focuses on the operating decision. Its evidence, owner, next action and outcome stay together in one record. Setup requirements depend on the systems involved.
Evidence you can inspect
You should be able to inspect the inputs, the person responsible, the action, and the result. A working example shows the structure, not whether a customer saved time or money.
We first agree on a real operating decision and its baseline. The record keeps the evidence, named owner, agreed action and review date. Afterward, we compare what actually happened with the original measure. We will not call an illustrative score a customer result or publish an identifiable story without permission.
Use your own staffing, call, cost or operational records.
Keep the evidence, owner, next action and review date together.
Compare against the baseline and document other factors that changed.
Who it is for
Start with one real decision and the evidence available.
One source of truth
Every system you run sends its decisions to one place. Each one gets the same published score, one owner and one check that it closed. Try the formula below. Nothing is saved.
((2 × 2) + 2 − 2) ÷ 8 × 100 = 50.0
Attach your systems
Decisions from any system arrive the same way. Your system sends the ratings. North Star computes the score, so no sender can set its own.

North Star Vision is the decision workspace from North Star Intel. It keeps a decision's evidence, priority score, owner, next action and outcome together. Your team reviews the inputs and approves the work.
No. Keep the systems your team uses. EchoCody is a separate product with its own pricing. Any integration, automated action or return of results is scoped and configured before use.
No. The decision score compares priorities using opportunity, risk of waiting and effort, each rated from 1 to 3. It is not a revenue forecast, a customer result or a benchmark against other companies.
For accepted applicants, a first reading reviews available records, makes assumptions explicit and identifies priority decisions and next actions. Deliverables and timing are confirmed during intake.

North Star Intel | Knowledge into action
Explore the three connected disciplines behind North Star Vision. Each starts with a practical operating question, explains the method and connects to an appropriate next step.
01 / Operational intelligence
Turn signals from calls, quotes, schedules and operating records into clear constraints, priorities and accountable next steps.
02 / Decision intelligence
Compare opportunity, risk and effort using visible assumptions. Preserve the reason, one owner, a due date and the intended outcome.
03 / AI-powered execution
Design guarded handoffs, human oversight and verification around automation, instead of treating an automated action as a completed result.
